Farley is the son of a talented piano player who made a name for himself in the local music scene. Growing up in a household filled with music, Farley was exposed to various genres and styles from an early age and was inspired by his Fathers musical journey.

    In his late teens Farley would occasionally play in his Fathers dance band, as well as joining a few local bands, however, later faced the challenge of finding his own sound and direction.

     Farley travelled overseas (Australia and South Africa) purchasing his first guitar in Sydney which became his travelling companion to explore different cultures and landscapes. This journey opened his eyes to new genres, sounds and experiences allowing him to grow musically and as a person.

     Returning home Farley decided to write original compositions and sought the guidance of “The Song Doctor” Charlotte Yates, from Wellington, to help his music connect with audiences through authentic storytelling in his music.

       Farley is creative and adventurous and has an open-minded approach to music and life. He likes collaboration and often seeks opportunities to work with other artists. He also remains optimistic about his future in music, believing that every experience, whether it be positive or not, contributes to his growth as an artist.
