Paul Adams & Stewart Maunder

Performing at Signs Lounge Bar

6.15pm Friday 28th March

Attention Jazz enthusiasts!

Paul Adams, a well-known Taranaki pianist noted for his jazz chops and has worked extensively as a musician and music teacher.

He performed for many years with the NP Ritz Big Band, is a member of Banana Mundo afro-punk latino dance band, playing keyboard and piano accordion and is one of the pianists for the Starlights jazz band at The Fitz Bar,  New Plymouth.

He played with On the Corner jazz band, a long running NP jazz ensemble and has often paired with Ross Halliday and Stewart Maunder to provide grown up jazz for a variety of events.

Many people will know Stewart Maunder, originally from Stratford, perhaps from his music shop or from the many bands he's played in over many years.

If you've ever heard the Great Taranaki Steam Band from New Plymouth, or the Ritz Big Band, you've likely heard Stewart playing Alto sax, Tenor sax, or even flute.

He's a master of many instruments and has been an invaluable contributor to the local music scene and to school Music for many years. His skills in arranging music for bands and conducting, as well as performance are legendary and a huge asset to music education in Taranaki.

He is well respected by fellow musicians.
